Our Love Story

A Rooftop Shidduch to an Island "I Do"

Sara and Michael met in 2017 through Michael's sister and a Hamptons share house. Summer nights led to a memorable run-in on the rooftop of the New York Athletic Club. Life pulled them in different directions, but the connection never really faded.

In the summer of 2025, they reconnected by chance at Soho House in New York. What started as catching up quickly became something neither wanted to let go of. Dates turned into weekends, weekends turned into a life together, and somewhere between New York, Miami, family, friends, and walks with Princess Puffy, they fell in love — finding their way back to their true B'sheret.

For the proposal, Michael surprised Sara with a trip to Little Palm Island, a private island escape in the Florida Keys. Surrounded by nothing but palm trees and ocean, he asked her to marry him. It was the moment "someday" became forever.

Key Biscayne felt like the only place to celebrate — Miami's warmth and energy with a touch of Keys island escape, the perfect place to begin forever by the ocean, surrounded by the people they love most.
